Zamansky LLC Investigates Axon Enterprise (NASDAQ: AAXN) for Potential Breaches of Fiduciary Duties to Shareholders

Zamansky LLC announces that it is investigating Axon Enterprise Inc. (NASDAQ:AAXN) (“Axon”) for potential breaches of fiduciary duties to shareholders. Axon, formerly known as Taser International, is a manufacturer of electrical weapons and body cameras which it sells to local law enforcement departments. If you are a shareholder of Axon, please contact our firm for information.

On October 19, 2017, Axon disclosed that it had received a letter of inquiry from the SEC relating to the review of its annual and quarterly reports. The previous day SeekingAlpha published a negative research report by Aparecium Research which raised numerous questions about Axon’s alleged accounting and business practices. The research report raised issues over whether Axon had allegedly inflated and overstated its revenues by improperly recognizing revenue upfront while deferring associated costs. Axon’s stock was damaged by these allegations.

According to Jake Zamansky, investment fraud attorney, Axon’s corporate officers and directors owe their shareholders fiduciary duties. The SEC letter and research report raised issues of potential concern for investors, Zamansky says. Our law firm is investigating whether the officers and directors breached their duties to shareholders.
