No other management company has as many properties as Asset Campus among the top 100 list, which tracks more than 1,100 such developments nationwide across various review sites. Asset Campus properties occupy 23 of the 100 spots on the list with five properties placing in the top 20.

More than 85 percent of students use online reviews to search for an apartment, according to a 2017 survey conducted by J Turner Research of 21,000 students. Its research shows that harnessing the power of content in both reviews and responses is critical to generating an increase in student traffic. Students surveyed said reviews continue to have a significant influence on their decision-making regarding housing. With that, students have become more perceptive about and discerning of the content of reviews.
The survey results were released at the 2018 NAA Campus Connex Conference, which was held Feb. 13–14 in Orlando, Fla. The ORA Power Rankings are produced by J Turner Research in association with media partner Multifamily Executive.
