SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Jan. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- UPcyclePOP Remade in Sacramento, Valentines, is a family-friendly event. Watch artists craft from discarded items, play with the interactive art installations, sip wine, participate in a pop-up theatre, listen to live Jazz from 'Take 7' & 'Sacramento Jazz Quartet' and shop sustainably for Valentines. The event is free, open to the public with free parking.
"The goal of the Valentines event is to up the love for our community, specifically groups that don't get enough love," said Event Director, Shira Lane. "Upcyclepop kindly infuses circular economy principles to sustainably grow the creative economy of Sacramento, California."

Who: Artists scheduled to exhibit include Kayden Hill, with Rare Bird Stereos, who converts suitcases and tackle boxes into Bluetooth stereos, Maureen Hefty turns old cutlery into jewellery, Metal Sculpture Artist Kristen Hoard and Mike Jones who repurposes found objects into furniture and manages Courageous Connection, a non-profit that helps foster youth.
UpcyclePOP is a pilot project of Unleashed Productions, an ethical creative agency and production company converting the 7300 Folsom building into a thriving hub of tech, art, events, and eco-entrepreneurship. UPcyclePOP is made possible with the assistance of the Power Inn Alliance of Sacramento.
