AHN posts best midyear financials in years

The Pittsburgh-based health system, owned by Highmark Health, reported net income of $28.3 million. That was ahead of its proposed loss of $7 million. AHN had total operating revenue of $770.8 million and operating income of $16.4 million, higher in both instances than its forecast.
