After Fannie, Freddie’s wild ride, future is murky

Shares of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had a wild ride this week, but their future remains murky. Even though senators announced an agreement on housing-finance reform, actual passage likely won’t occur for quite some time, if ever, and shareholders may have to wait for the courts to decide their fate.
