Here To Help More Brands Grow Across Southeast Asia: SOCIAL SHOUT Launches This September 2020

SOCIAL SHOUT Will Launch Two Main Services To Solve Digital Marketing problems in Establishing Brand Awareness throughout Southeast Asia

Social Shout, a new social media agency has been launched to provide continuous support and solution to Digital Marketing problems throughout Southeast Asia by providing measurable results not just to clients, but most importantly to all of its stakeholders. With its tagline “We live and breathe creativity — passionate in establishing your brand reputation”, Social Shout aims to become the most recognized social media agency in Southeast Asia. Currently, Social Shout offers Social Media Management and Competitor Analysis that can save its clients’ valuable time by curating its clients’ social media posts and tracking their competitors' real time.

With this service, Social Shout provides continuous support to small and seasoned business owners to build and establish their own brand that can be looked into their marketing and PR campaigns, following their product launches, and tracking which influencers who can be their partners at the same time.

According to a research, 97% of the consumers use the internet to find a business. Social Shout's main goal is to utilize the features of social media to help their clients to  build a strong online presence for their brand.

Nin Pangilinan, as the General Manager of Social Shout, has over 10 years of experience in running and leading successful social media campaigns for reputable brands as a marketing and business manager. He was able to grow and establish a wide array of successful brands which includes concept building, set up and opening, not just in Manila but also across Asia Pacific Region.

He said, "With the rising demand for digital marketing, I decided to launch a new business model that matches my team's strength & experience to extend more opportunities as well as considering our economic situation during the pandemic. With our current global situation we have to shift our businesses to be more digital focused.”

The social media agency, Social Shout shared the first approach are ideas from different social media platforms either directly or through a cultural trend. Therefore,  they’re taking full advantage of platform functionality and consider their audience, channel context and culture.

Currently Social Shout has over 12 clients across Southeast Asia and is still growing in the beauty industry, food, retails and IT companies. Focusing on strategy, branding, design, advertising, marketing, technology and eCommerce.

One of the clients, Wendi Chan from Pink Parlour, a well-known best place hair removal salon for first timers across Southeast Asia, says “I love how they analyze our brand and help us set the brand guideline and help us manage social media so the content is aligned with the brand guideline; fun yet informative, and perfectly targeting the right audience. Now, we get dozens of DMs each week on social media and get hundreds 5 star-reviews online.”

Another client, Dipti from Sylvia Secrets, a famous aesthetician salon from Singapore, says “Social Shout really helps me do everything, from establishing all my social media accounts, setting up and managing them so we can establish brand awareness through social media without spending time thinking about social media strategy so I can be more focused on salon operations. I don’t have to do anything as they’re doing it all, from posting content daily and sending reports. Besides, they’re tracking my competitors and sending the reports to me monthly which really helps us increase brand awareness.”

KC Aquino, Marketing Manager at Social Shout, says a brand must know its target audience inside and out for a social-first approach to be successful. “We really need to ask ourselves ‘Who are they?’ How do they behave and what do we know about their purchasing behaviour,” says Aquino.

Brands must also understand the channel context, what is happening on the platform, the people using a particular channel and major cultural trends. “Often we are so focused on what we want to say about our brand or what our competitors are saying that we forget to look at the environment in which we unleash all this content.” says Aquino. “Internet cultures are very different all around, so your Tik Tok influencers are so different from your picture-perfect Instagram influencers. This really requires a deep understanding of the culture that surrounds each platform.”

According to Regina Hartono, marketing coordinator at Social Shout, a social first approach that considers all these factors can “create the same type of emotional connection than long form storytelling.”

Other important aspects to consider is to have a deep understanding of the functionalities of each platform. For example, on Instagram, you can post corporate content like long-form videos through IGTV, taking the advantage of its no time-limit feature.  Instagram videos that are framed vertically and have subtitles grab more attention because they are full screen and designed for a silent environment.

Instagram is the #1 photo-sharing app in the world. Every business owner should take into consideration that they need to create aesthetically-pleasing photos for their IG feed as they will receive a high engagement on their page.
