Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On May 9, 2005, Party City Corporation (the “Company”) announced its operating results for the fiscal quarter and nine months ended April 2, 2005.
A copy of the press release issued by the Company announcing the foregoing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
As previously announced, the Company will be hosting a conference call to discuss these operating results on May 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The conference call will be broadcast live on Party City’s website, http://www.partycity.com, at such time. An online archive of the broadcast, accessible on http://www.partycity.com, will be available from May 9, 2005 (one hour after the completion of the call) until May 23, 2005.
