| On February 21, 2003, ONEOK, Inc. (“the Company”) announced that it will adopt the fair market value method of accounting for stock options contained in Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 123, Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation, effective for stock options granted on or after January 1, 2003. Under these provisions, all future employee stock grants will be expensed over the stock option vesting period based on the fair value of the options at the grant date. The Company expects minimal financial impact in the current year from its adoption of this accounting methodology. | ||
