Pursuant to above-named Company's acquisition of Stein Roe Investment Council
LLC on 1 March 2004, 91,832 ordinary shares of $0.10 have been issued by way of
Deferred Consideration. Accordingly, application has been made to The UK Listing
Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Official List and to the London
Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. The Shares rank
equally with the existing issued shares of the Company. Dealings are expected to
commence on 30 March, 2006.
