Item 8.01    Other Events.

On March 28, 2019, MEDNAX, Inc., a Florida corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has nominated Carlos A. Migoya and Michael A. Rucker for election as directors at the Company’s 2019 Annual Meeting of Shareholders alongside the current members of the Board, which would expand the size of the Board of Directors to 11 members. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
