On November 1, 2016, Rachel Haurwitz, Ph.D. informed the Board of Directors (the Board) of Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. (the Company) of her resignation from the Board, effective as of the same date. Dr. Haurwitzs decision to resign from the Board is based on her desire to focus on the research and development efforts at Caribou Biosciences, Inc., where she serves as president and chief executive officer. Her decision did not result from any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Companys operations, policies or practices.
