Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On March 19, 2019, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Sanchez Energy Corporation (the “Company”) appointed Cameron W. George as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.  Mr. George had previously served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company since October 26, 2018.

 

On March 19, 2019, the Board appointed Gregory B. Kopel as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company.  Mr. Kopel had previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company since December 14, 2015.
