Item 8.01. OTHER EVENTS

 

On June 10, 2010, the Company received notice from WellPoint Inc. (“Wellpoint”) that it will allow its contracts with the Company’s subsidiary, National Imaging Associates (“NIA”), covering radiology benefits management services provided by NIA to WellPoint’s subsidiary, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield to expire at the end of their terms on December 31, 2010.  As previously disclosed, in July 2007, Wellpoint acquired a radiology benefits management company, and at that time expressed its intent to in-source all of its radiology benefits management business when such contracts expire. Total revenues to the Company from such contracts for the year ended 2009 and for the first quarter of 2010 were $155.9 million and $40.1 million, respectively.
