Qualified Holdings
Portugal Telecom, SGPS, S.A. (PT) hereby informs that it has received a communication on the following qualified holdings in PT:
1. On 18 November 2009, Barclays Global Investors NA disposed of a total of 470,849 PT ordinary shares, on regulated market. As a result of such transaction, a total of 17,664,455 ordinary shares representing 1.97% of PTs share capital and corresponding voting rights were attributed to the Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Ltd. and affiliates (the Group), as follows:
