SCBT Financial Corporation Announces Pricing of Common Stock Offering
COLUMBIA, S.C.May 12, 2009SCBT Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: SCBT) announced today that it has priced its public offering of 1,300,000 shares of its common stock at $23.00 per share for total gross proceeds of approximately $29.9 million.
The company expects to close the sale of common shares on May 18, 2009, subject to customary closing conditions.
Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. is acting as the lead book-running manager and Sandler ONeill + Partners, L.P. is acting as co-manager for the offering. The underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15 percent of the offered amount of common stock from SCBT to cover over-allotments, if any.
