Item 8.01 Other Events.
 
 
Data Network Storage LLC, a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation, has entered into a settlement and license agreement with Fujitsu Limited.  This agreement resolves patent litigation, Civil Action Case No. 4-2009-CV-00658, that was pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
